Twilight Turtle Night LightJul 21, 2008 This product is wonderful for all ages. I bought it for one of my twins, who is scared of the dark. He just admires all the stars above his crib that light up his room until he falls fast asleep. The only thing that I wish it could do is stay on until I turn it off or if it could be sound activated to come back on if he is crying. It seems to soothe him, unlike a regular night light. My older children love it too. I actually just went on a trip with a friend and her kids, and I brought it along for my son and she was so impressed by it that she wants to order one for her son.
Fun product, but not all colors are "worthy".Jul 15, 2008 My husband and I bought this for our little girl's nursery. It's perfect; however, the amber lights are barely visible - even when the room is completely dark. Furthermore, the blue lights are not that great (although better than the amber ones). The best are the green stars. They are the most clear and most visible. Overall, we are very pleased with this product and would recommend it to others. Enjoy!
Innovative ToyJul 14, 2008 This is a highly innovative toy that will certainly last your child for years.
While this particular toy I bought for myself as a turtle enthusiast, I purchased the Cloud b Twilight Lady Bug for my soon to be born niece. As an infant to toddler she will be able to use it as both a nightlight and a plaything. As she ages, she will be able to learn about star constellations and folklore regarding them.
The stars that are projected are bright and by far superior to the short lived glow of the conventional stars.
I highly reccomend this product to those who are looking for unique educational toys that can still be played with and used to further imagination.
Great Good Night ToolJul 08, 2008 My 2 1/2 year old twins love this turtle! Everynight we say good night to the turtle, one gets to turn it on and one gets to pick the star color. Makes for a super sweet night time routine.
Star turtleJul 07, 2008 I bought this as a gift for a new born. It serves as a night light right now. I was kind of disappointed because the turtle really needs to be placed in the center of a room so that you can see the whole starry sky. Basically, that is not where it feasibly can be placed. Hopefully, the child will be able to play with it when she gets older.
