Description:

The Peek-a-Boo Piano offers so many ways to play! Attach it to your baby's crib, where the high contrast of black-and-white keys and bold graphic patterns are easy for newborns to focus on. Gently flapping wings, softly paced lights, and up to 10 minutes of continuous music offer the right stimulation. Then as baby learns to kick, he'll be rewarded with peek-a-boo play, music and lights. Baby can rattle the birdie's dangling feet while discovering the magic of cause and effect! When your baby can sit independently, place the piano on the floor for exciting concerts. Pressing individual piano keys creates music.

Features:

The Peek-a-Boo Piano¿ offers so many ways to play!

The soft birdie comes alive when baby kicks the developmental black and white piano keys, and encourages further play with dangling rattle and crinkle feet, and developmental colors.

3 modes: Mom activated mode features 5 songs (10 minutes), baby activated mode allows baby to kick the piano keys and be rewarded with 5-8 seconds of music that adds to make a full song, and piano mode plays music notes for each key kicked.

Extra excitement is provided by the cool tube lighting that turns on as baby plays and birdie intermittently plays pee-a-boo in all modes. An insect friend with soft wings resides on the piano keys to tickle baby's toes and encourage kicking.

As baby grows, the Kick and Play Peek-a-boo Piano can be easily removed from the crib using the convenient handle for crib to floor mode fun. Music can be adjusted to high, low, or off for times when baby needs to rest.

4Great!Jul 09, 2008
My daughter loved this from about 4 mos. to 9-10 mos. She kicked away at it. The music is very pleasant (classical!) , has volume control, and 3 different settings.
Like some people have said, it would be nice, maybe in future versions, to have alternative ways to mount it, or a stand of some sort for playing on the floor or something. My daugher also played with it when she was a little older, by holding it on her lap and pressing the keys. Since, as with most baby toys, it's still in great shape, I'm passing it along at a baby shower this weekend. I just hope my daughter, now 14 mos. doesn't pitch a fit when the mother-to-be opens it! We'll both be sad to see it go. It's one of those things.
Deinitely recommended!

5Perfect toy!Jul 03, 2008
My 4.5 month old daughter LOVES kicking this. She's figured out that if she kicks it, fun songs come out, so she wants to kick it even more. It's a lot of fun to watch her play with this!

5Great toy for 1 month and older!Jun 13, 2008
When my son was about a month old, it became very obvious to everyone that when he was awake, he expected to be entertained. Being so little, I had no idea what kind of things we could do with him, and a friend gave us this toy. We spent a few minutes every day for a couple of months playing with this toy on the floor, and he loved it! I propped it up against the couch and set it to play continually, and then i waved his hands and feet in time to the music, while he watched the lights and the birdie. Now that he is five months old, he loves to play with the toy with the kicking features, and grabs at the bird constantly. As another reviewer mentioned, we also use our crib for sleeping and NOT playing, so we've never mounted it in his crib, yet it is still very useful for keeping him occupied, and he still loves to play with it every day!
The only downside is that I wish it did have some sort of stand to prop it up when it's not crib-mounted; it's a little difficult to hold a baby and also keep the piano propped up when he kicks it!

Grade: A

5The best toy!Jun 07, 2008
This piano has been the best toys for our girl so far! She is 3 months and loves kicking this thing to make music! Very very nice toy and our baby daughter enjoys it A LOT!

2My 5 month old ate the beekApr 14, 2008
My baby loved this piano when he was really small, but by the time he got to be 5 months he ripped the beek off and swallowed it. I think that this could be a choking hazard and should be used with CONSTANT supervision and should be taken out of the crib when naping.
