My son is now a year old. We got this when his first teeth were coming in around 5 months. He has found his way back to it every time he has new teeth coming through. I recall that when we first got it he occasionally gagged himself on the green handle (sticking it in backwards) -- perhaps the loop should be shorter, but over all he loves it and I will recommend it to anyone. Other teethers were too much for him to handle. This is perfect because it's so easy to hold on to while he's moving around. It is not appropriate for use as a pacifier. It's too big to suck on.

We ordered the RaZ-berry teether. It works great, but my daughter has a small mouth. It almost made her gag the first month. Overall a GREAT teether.

My son, who does not take a pacifier, loves this when he's teething! He would rather chew on this any day before a teething ring. I like it b/c it's small enough for him to keep ahold of it and put it in and take it out of his mouth. Great invention...I bought two more after realizing he liked it so much.

My daughter loves this teether! She was always chewing on everything including her hands. I love watching her just go to town on this teether knowing that it is really helping her! My daughter starting using this at 7 months. We also bought for a 13 month of a friend and her daughter loves it as well!

My 5 month old son has never taken to pacifiers, and always gags like he's going to vomit when he gets one in his mouth. But for some weird reason, THIS magnificent item works for him! It doesn't serve to soothe the way a regular pacifier does, but he loves to gnaw on it all day long. The genius of this product is that ALL parts of it are chewy, so no matter which way he manages to get it in his mouth, it works for him. The nipple part is also chewier than regular pacifiers usually are. Overall, without this product i would have a much grumpier baby, it's a must have for my son!
